Portrait photography for series

Ripple
A titanium series with assymetric lines and based on the single drop on the water and the moving water lines.

Loops
Non-stop from start to finish, the Loops remodel casually loosened rope into a gracious layered sculpture, adding dimension to a seemingly simple frame.

Carré
Cloudwatching on a summer’s day, the cubist’ view alters the sky into basic geometry, shaping Cloud Carré into peculiar soft transparent designs

Curtains
Derived from elegantly draped stage Curtains, characterised by polygon interior yet smooth exterior; opposing like ‘cour et jardin’.

Ledge
Strolling down a mountain ledge or rolling hill, this acetate series is subtly playful with multiple facets and textures; disarmingly genuine, familiar but never plain

Highlands
Leaving at dawn for a day on the open water, taking in spectacular Scottish Highland scenery. Determined by its mountain ridges, rocky slopes and indented coastlines, the uplifted landscape contrasts with a clear cut from the ocean.

Novels
Referring to a sketching environment of graphic novels, the finished product strives to stay true to the initial drawing. Conceived as a doodle or continuous line, this family sticks to a single line with a gentle aesthetic that is clean, minimal and delicate but appealingly different

Mangrove
As a tribute to the origin of Komorebi, this family is all about the waterline. Canoeing through the Japanese mangroves of Amami Ōshima (28°15'20.9"N 129°24'33.1"E), the intense beauty of this piece of nature was enhanced by the game of reflection above and refraction of its details beneath.
